Queen Nanny Freedom laB

The Queen Nanny Freedom Lab (QNFL) is at the heart of our work, named in honor of the famous Jamaican maroon leader. This space began as our Covid-19 Mutual Aid initiative in March 2020 but now includes political education and coalition building. Through the QNFL, we have provided groceries to 150 families and redistributed nearly $85,000 to community members and Mutual Aid initiatives around the state.

QNFL is now preparing to carry out a housing relief initiative to move resources to housing insecure families as we continue to support organizing efforts through partnerships and trainings.
